Ranbir Kapoor says football team is most important, Abhishek Bachchan reminds him he just got married

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt postponed their honeymoon to finish their film and other work commitments. One such work trip took Ranbir to Dubai to play in the Celebrity Football Cup 2022 against Emirates United. 

Kapoor, the celebrity football team's vice-captain, stated that the team is one of the most important things he has been a part of. Talking to Bollywood Hungama, the actor stated that they are overjoyed to be there. This year also marks the tenth anniversary of ASFC. This is most likely the most important thing he has ever been a part of. The friends he made, the teammates he had and the brotherhood he shared.

Abhishek Bachchan, the team captain, teased him and reminded the young hunk that he has just gotten married last month. "Which is so touching considering he just got married," Abhishek remarked. 

Ranbir couldn't help but laugh as he nodded and continued his statement in response to Jr Bachchan's remark. 

Kartik Aaryan, who was also present at the all-star match, was allegedly persuaded to take a break from 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' promotions in order to be a part of the team. Abhishek also revealed that Ranbir was filming until just a few hours before boarding his flight to Dubai. 

While Kartik has been preoccupied with film promotions, Ranbir has been busy filming 'Animal.' On the other hand, the actor is also expected to begin promoting his upcoming film, 'Brahmastra,' which is set to be released in September.
