Rakul Preet Singh to play a ‘condom tester’ in her next film: Report

Actress Rakul Preet Singh recently started the script reading sessions of her upcoming film titled ‘Doctor G’ alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. 

As per reports, she is all set to follow her co star Ayushmann’s steps and has given her a nod for a social comedy film. According to Bollywood Hungama, Rakul Preet will play a ‘condom tester’ in her next film with RSVP movies. 

The portal quoted a source as saying:

"Rakul has already given her verbal nod to the project. It is a social comedy, much on the lines of the projects that Ayushmann (Khurrana) usually picks up for himself. It's a yet-to-be-titled project which will have Rakul essaying the role of a condom tester. Yes, you heard it right, she will play the role of a sexecutive."

For the unaware, ‘condom testers’ are people above the age of 18 who are hired by big condom manufacturers to test and check the durability of the condoms during their act of intimacy.

The source further adds that the film aims at destigmatising the use of condoms in India and will be a bold but humorous take on the same, much like Ayushmann’s film ‘Dream Girl.’ If report are to be believed, Rakul loved the script and will kickstart shooting in the coming months. Meanwhile, an official announcement from the makers is awaited.

Speaking of other projects, Rakul Preet Singh has Doctor G, MayDay and Sardar Ka Grandson in her pipeline.
