Rakul Preet Singh reveals about running all her scripts through her parents before giving it a nod

Rakul Preet Singh is busy these days and has a lot of projects in her kitty. Rakul Preet Singh admits she's open to doing any type of film, from seeti maar commercials to content-driven narratives, as long as her parents give her the green light. Rakul Preet Singh revealed she runs every script by her parents in an interview with Pinkvilla for their section titled Women Up.
The actor will play a condom tester in the upcoming film Chhatriwali. Doctor G is also in her kitty.
"I merely told my parents the one-liner and they said okay".
She said that she doesn't enjoy the extended narration, but she gives them a sense of what's going on. She is fine if they're fine. They are the source of her self-assurance. When she is stumped, she hands over her screenplays to her father and asks him to read them when he has time and tell her what he thinks of them as an audience.
Rakul described Chhatriwali as not preaching but rather a truth of our society. Rakul described the film as a light-hearted yarn about a small town girl who ends up as a condom tester, quality assurance head by happenstance since she needs money. The performer stated that she filmed for the movie in November and December of last year.
"We're not putting on a sleazy performance It's a small-town girl's trip," she expressed.
Rakul spoke on the taboo surrounding the gynecology department while discussing Doctor G, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana as the lead. A gynecologist is an important doctor, however, the field is regarded with suspicion and the same will be demonstrated in the film.
