Rajneeti - One Big Family!

The sets of realist director Prakash Jha's Rajneeti have given rise to a series of bonds among the ensemble of artists, all males, and Kat.


While Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, who had clicked from the word go on the sets of previous year's hit Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani, were expected to get along on the sets, a friendly trio has evolved with the inclusion of model turned National award winner, Arjun Rampal.


Ranbir, during a press conference called for Rajneeti at Hotel Galaxy went as far as publicly tagging Arjun his 'brother for life'. Arjun in turn, accepted the feeling was mutual. On a lighter note, Ranbir even confessed being jealous of Mehr for being Arjun's wife - oops! And here we thought the claims called this bond strictly 'brotherly', eh?!


Meanwhile, these two 'brother-in-arms' cum 'partners-in-crime' have teamed up to ascertain they miss no chance to pull Katrina's leg! When Kat walked onto the stage at the conference, the duo was seen clapping embarrassingly loud, later even banging the desks in a 'warm welcome' to the beauty!


Kat has been quite the sport, taking the jokes well and sharing a great friendship with the two. Dressed in a short pink dress, when the gorgeous girl shivered slightly from the cold wave of the effective air conditioning at the venue, the gallant Arjun passed on his coat to keep her warm. Senior actor Nana Patekar meanwhile saw to it that the temperature control was revised accordingly.


Arjun in recounting his experience during the shoots said that apart from the brother he has discovered in Ranbir, and the new found friend in Kat, Nana (patekar) Sir had been a consistent guide, Prakash has now become his mate, and Manoj (Bajpai) his enemy!


Due for release in June this year, Rajneeti, in director Jha's well considered opinion is likely to win both Ranbir and Katrina National Awards in 2010.


For all the political conspiracies that the movie is set to bring forth on the big screen, the cast and crew on sets have sure worked as one big family!
