Yes, you heard it right. Check out the details below...

Superstar Rajinikanth who will be seen in director S. Shankar's film '2.0', has made fresh announcement about his upcoming project.

In a recent interaction with the media, Rajinikanth confirmed that he will soon start shooting for PA Ranjith's forthcoming action romance which will go on floors from May 28th.

It's a Tamil film and also star Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi opposite to 'Thalaiva.'

A leading tabloid quoted a source in its report stating that "The makers were looking for someone with a strong screen presence as it's a performance-oriented role. Huma will play Rajinikanth's love interest. She is really excited. They start shooting in Mumbai from May 28 and Huma will start prep soon." (sic)

Interestingly, the film is produced by Rajinikanth's son-in-law Dhanush himself!

This will be the first time we will watch Huma Qureshi with superstar Rajinikanth. Earlier, Bollywood actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha, Deepika Padukone and Manisha Koirala have worked with Rajinikanth. And this time its 'Jolly LLB 2' actor Huma!

With actors like Rajinikanth and Huma on board, the film would be a perfect entertainer!
