Rajeev Khandelwal: I Would Like To Believe That I'm Very Romantic In Real Life!

Featuring Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Rajeev Khandelwal for the first time together, ALT Balaji is coming up with a yummy new web series titled Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala. The web series is a mature love story between two chefs, who share the pain of betrayal in a past relationship and also their love for food! The series is produced by Doris Dey, under the banner Linga Bhairavi Devi Productions. The series is written by Doris and author Jaya Misra and directed by renowned director, Pradeep Sarkar.  

We got up, close and personal with Rajeev Khandelwal about the series and here's what he shared:

The promos look fresh and entertaining. Tell us about your character in the series

I’m playing Vikram and sometimes I’m Chef Vikram, sometimes I’m just Vikram. My character has different flavors in it. Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala is a love story that oscillates back and forth in the past and present. 

Do you have any similarities with your on-screen character?

I’m quite similar to Vikram in a lot of ways. I’m a little stubborn, I would like to believe that I’m very romantic in real life, if needed I can be arrogant, in fact, I can be what all Vikram is actually. 

You seem to be very selective with the choice of work that you do and still manage to charm the audience. Is there a secret to it?

I work with pretty girls who also make me look charming *giggles* I would say that people have been really kind to me, especially women. Speaking about being selective, I pick up less projects because I keep saying that work is not my life, it is just a part of my life. I don't think about my work all the time because I also like to enjoy my social life.
