Rajat Tokas' 'Chandra Nandini' heroine Shweta Basu Prasad set to marry boyfriend on THIS date!

Popular actress Shweta Basu Prasad, who played the lead role of Nandini' opposite Rajat Tokas in Star Plus show Chandra Nandini', got engaged to long-time boyfriend & filmmaker Rohit Mittal in June this year. Now the couple is set to take their relationship to the next level as they are reportedly tying the knot next month.

Shweta & Rohit, who are dating each other since last four years, will exchange nuptial vows on 13^th December in Pune. Confirming about her wedding to a leading daily, Shweta revealed that the much-in-love couple will be getting married following both Marwadi & Bengali traditions. After wedding, Rohit & Shweta will host a reception in Mumbai.

With only a few days left for the wedding ceremony, Shweta and her besties are currently in Bali for her bachelorette party.

For the uninitiated, it was Shweta who popped the question to Rohit.

On the career front, Shweta started her career as a child-artist and did various films as well as TV shows. She got appreciation for her work in films like Makdee' & Iqbal'. Shweta even won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist for her performance in Makdee' & went on to feature in other films including Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi' & Darna Zaroori Hai'. Last year, Shweta played the role of Varun Dhawan's bhabhi in Badrinath Ki Dulhania'.

On the TV front, she featured in shows like Kahanii Ghar Ghar Kii' and Karishma Ka Karishma' and made her comeback as a lead actress with Chandra Nandini' in 2016.
