Even though they are busy entertaining the audiences with their screen performances, actors also look forward to spending a special Diwali with loved ones. Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, produced by Rajan Shahi (Directors Kut Production), actors share their Diwali plans, memories and more.
Amit Pachori shares, "Diwali decoration with lights and diya followed by Laxmi Puja is mandatory in our home. Post the puja, I plan to light a few crackers (without sound) with my kids, and then friends will come over for dinner and a get-together of fun and frolic. The lights of Diwali, for me, signify a time to destroy all our dark desires and thoughts and give us the strength and the zeal to carry on with our goodwill for the rest of the year. With the lights all around, it just exuberates positivity and immense joy. Childhood Diwali memories are always the fondest ones. My father, who was, is & always will be my hero, used to bring the best of the sweets and crackers for us. Putting up lights with your siblings and parents around the house to make sure every corner wishes you happy Diwali is one of the fondest memories growing up".
Garvita Sadhwani shares, "Diwali means love, light and family for me! My mom and dad are here, so I'll be spending time with them. We do Lakshmi poojan at home, light up the house with Diyas And avoid crackers! Most memorable diwali has been with my mom dad sister, All together in one place. Now my sister has moved to the US, but I miss fighting over dal pakwan and sweets with her".
Yatin Karyekar shares, "If I get a holiday of 3/4 days from shootings, I will be visiting my house in Pune else; I will have to stay in Mumbai. It re-vitalizes relations, boosts the economy, and spreads happiness. As a child, having all my six aunts and seven uncles with their families at my grandparent's place (134 souls under one roof) exchanging gifts, eating special sweets, lots of songs, and lots of love is the one thing we kids always looked forward to".
