Star Plus’s show Anupamaa always stays in the news, whether for actors controversies or its captivating storyline. While it held the top spot on the TRP charts for years, it has now been surpassed by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain and Udne Ki Aasha. Recently, Rajan Shahi, the producer of Rupali Ganguly's show, addressed the drop in TRP while talking to Telly Talk India, stating that fluctuations are natural and they are committed to working hard to reclaim their leading position.

Rajan Shahi also mentioned his appreciation for seeing quality shows like the one starring Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora ranking at the top of the charts.“My best wishes to all of them. We will work hard to achieve the success," he added.

Rupali Ganguly portrays the main character in Anupamaa, which debuted in July 2020. She has been part of the show for over 4 years. Recently, Alisha Parveen was fired from the show.
