Raashii Khanna speaks out on Yodha's performance: Every film has its destiny

The release of "Yodha," starring Sidharth Malhotra and Raashii Khanna, stirred up considerable anticipation among audiences. However, since hitting theaters on March 15, the film has failed to impress both viewers and critics alike. Despite its lackluster performance at the box office, Raashii Khanna remains supportive of her role in the movie.

In a recent interview, Raashii Khanna candidly addressed the mixed reviews and underwhelming reception of "Yodha." She acknowledged the diverse opinions surrounding the film but expressed a desire for broader audience appeal, particularly given the challenges of attracting viewers to theaters amidst the availability of OTT releases.

She said, "Maybe there's somebody who loves it, then somebody who hates it. There'll always be all kinds of people, but obviously, we want, when the film is released, a lot of people should like it. I think the challenge has been to bring them to theatres still, because now everyone knows that the film will be released on OTT. So that is a challenge that even people face"

Despite the film's reception, Raashii maintains a positive outlook, emphasizing that every movie has its own journey and lessons to offer. She remains proud of her performance in "Yodha" and values the feedback she's received from audiences.

"Yodha" centers on the harrowing tale of a passenger plane hijacked by terrorists, with an off-duty soldier onboard tasked with devising a strategy to ensure the safety of passengers amidst the chaos of engine failure.
