The #MeToo movement has literally shaken our entire entertainment industry. We have been shocked and rather appalled with the names that have been coming out and the revelations being unveiled regarding our entertainment industry.
After Alok Nath, the latest name that has come out is that of Rohit Roy. A journalist shared an anonymous post of a woman who is a fellow journalist. In the post she has accused Rohit of harassing her when she was 16.
In a chat, she revealed how Rohit had forcefully tried to kiss her, claims that Rohit has denied.
So we decided to get in touch with one of Rohit's ex-colleagues, actress Rati Pandey (last seen in Porus) who says, "I have worked with Rohit and we were very comfortable working with each other. We were very professional when it come to work. Infact even today when we meet each other, we greet each other."
When spoke to her about the allegations made on Rohit, she refused to comment on it.
And when asked about the #MeToo Movement, she stated, "I am very fortunate that I did not go through any such situation. But I would suggest the younger generation that if they come across any such situation, they should speak there itself. The action should be taken then and there and not after days of the incident."
"Such incidents happen everywhere and not just in our industry. Personally, if I would have been in that situation, I don't know how would I have reacted, but definitely it would have been on the spot," revealed the actress.
Well, to each his own, but Rati's point is valid enough.
