"Whatever other career I pursue but I can never ignore dance"

Many a times unknowingly we try to do something different from our hobby or the work that we are doing and we tend to like it very much. Well, same is the case with the dancer cum actor Alisha Singh who is currently seen playing the role of Neha in Palki's dance based show Dil Dostii Dance on Channel V.

Alisha Singh has her own dancing classes in Ranchi and along with her career in dancing now she is looking forward to make a career in acting too. On the same we got in touch with her to know more about her liking for acting and how her journey in this industry began.

Alisha shares with TellyBuzz  about her journey in this industry, "My journey has been very nice so far. From dancing to acting I have loved every part of my career that took a hike from the show Dance India Dance."

The producer of the show Dil Dostii Dance was keen on taking up Alsiha Singh in her show and Alisha was more than happy to grab the opportunity, "I knew Palki maam from a long time. Basically I did the show Kaboom with her in 2005, and from that time she knows me very well. Then after I did Dance India Dance, I guess it was like one year after DID, she gave me a call and told me about the show Dil Dostii Dance. She wanted me to be a part of that show. Since it was a dance based show I did not take any time to think and said a Yes."

Alisha has come a long way from Ranchi to Mumbai, "After Dance India Dance got over, I went to Ranchi as I have my dance classes there and I had to look after that too. Palki maam's call and such a good opportunity made me come back to Mumbai. Then I settled here with a very good show in my kitty."

She gets to learn a lot through the show Dil Dostii Dance especially in the acting field, "Dil Dosti Dance has been a great journey so far. I got to learn acting too and now after learning acting I have started to like acting too. Along with my dancing career, now I am also looking forward to make a career in acting too."

So after a career in Dancing she is now looking forward to acting too, "I am open to all kinds of show that come my way only that the story line of the show should be interesting and my character too. If I come across such an opportunity I would be very happy to grab it without giving it a second thought."

She is open to all kinds of shows and characters if it is interesting, "There is no particular character that I have thought of playing. I am open to anything and everything, just that the character should be very challenging. Like now when I am doing Di Dostii Dance, many a times I feel that I should also explore my acting skills. There is so much do, so I would like to try all the characters be it negative or positive."

"Whatever other career I pursue but I can never ignore dance, my love for dancing will never die. I just love dancing and I enjoy while I am dancing" she concluded.
