Housewife Hai.. Sab Jaanti Hain on Zee TV is set to bid adieu as the revamp sequence didn't gel well with the audience. Aniruddh Dave who plays Kanahiya confirmed with TellyBuzz saying that the show is all set to wrap up.
In conversation with the cool hunk Aniruddh, TellyBuzz decided to know more about his journey…
Talking about the show he says, "Housewife... is coming to an end as it the story line could not grab the attention of the viewers. It was being unnecessarily stretched, so the production house decided to pull it off."
We asked him the reason for the sudden closure of the show despite the new cast which was brought in after the show was revamped and he opined, "I feel every show has its destiny and timeline. We can't force the audience to watch a show, and there are times when the audience doesn't connect with a story and screenplay. As an actor and as a viewer I understand, it does happen so no one is to be blamed."
When asked about his popular character Kanahiya, he said, "I am just happy that Kanahiya my character has been widely appreciated and I love being a part of a female oriented family. My character right from Ruk Jaana Nahi's Indu Singh to Housewife's Kanahiya's has given me recognition and has been a wonderful journey till now."
"And most importantly by god's grace I have never been out of work. I have been constantly working after Ruk Jana Nahi as I had Housewife... after Ruk Jaana Nahin. I thank almighty for giving me instant lead roles," he added.
Anirrudh also shares about his dream role and says, "I am in the acting profession from a decade now and I am also doing theatre. My dream role would be to act like a 5 year old guy who is mentally challenged guy. I want to relive my childhood."
He even spoke about the new comers in the industry, "I would like to tell the budding young guns of the industry that one should be kind and humble with everyone as today we may have a show in our pocket but the moment the show goes off air you are back to the place where your were, so it's no use flying high."
We want to see young and dashing Aniruddh back on screen again. Don't you agree?
