Mazher Sayed who played the role of Suri on Colors' Naagin recently ended his cameo stint after delivering a promising performance.
In a tete-a-tete with Tellybuzz, Mazher spoke about the kind of roles he enjoys doing.
Speaking about the reason behind choosing cameo role Mazher said, "Why not? It is the number one show, I was offered a grey character and it was a pivotal role which brought a major twist in the story. The character was enigmatic and I made my debut with Balaji Productions so it is a pleasure associating with them whenever I get an opportunity."
Now that the actor is no more a part of the show, we asked him about his experience shooting for Naagin.
Mazher quipped, "I have worked with Sudha Chandran and Manish Khanna 15 years ago for Kahin Kisi Roz. Balaji Productions has been my home and after doing 6 to 7 shows, I haven't been working with them from the past 4 to 5 years now. So it was great coming back with experienced actors once again. Santram Varma is a fantastic director and it is always a pleasure working with him. Every day teaches us something different. I thoroughly enjoyed what I did and most importantly because my character was quirky."
Elaborating on the 'supernatural genre' trending, the talented actor claimed that he is glad that the audience still loves such genres.
"This genre is different and it reminds me of the movies from the 80's. I am happy that the audience loves this. I saw a few episodes and it is interesting in the way it is shot and narrated. I have grown up watching Nagina and Sridevi and I too love watching such dramas." He added.
