"I have lived as an actor and will die as an actor" - Shafaq

I don't have any Godfather. I knew my talent and my family supported me in this dream and this is how I entered in this industry. My very first show was Raaz Peechle Janam Ka Season 1.

Kaali was a bad experience. I was told that it is a decent track but I shot only for two days. I had major issues with the casting director but later we solved all the problems.

In 26-12, I play the role of Nikhil who is the son of the Chief Minister. Nikhil is a negative character and has an image of a playboy. He likes to use girls and he is the youth leader too.

What or who has been your biggest support in this industry?

Me, myself and my passion.

If not an actor?

I have lived as an actor and will die as an actor too. I am stubborn, know my work and am confident that I will succeed.

How is the real Shafaq Khan?

He is a happy go lucky person who believes in Karma. Shafaq doesn't believe in lies, no if's and but's. He is a focused person.

What do you have to say about the uncertainty in an actor's life?

Well, ups and downs are an integral part of the journey of being an actor. You cannot avoid them.

Your close friends in the industry?

Javed and Dimpy Sinha both are casting directors and my friends. Apart from the industry, my mom is my friend for life.

You and Sushant Singh Rajput used to stay together in Mumbai, tell us a bit about it?

Not much but only that he is a very good human being.
