Puneet Sharma to enter 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani'!

Having portrayed cameo roles on shows like 'Qubool Hai' and 'Jamai Raja' earlier, Puneet Sharma has once again been roped in for a show under the Zee TV banner 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani'.

Puneet will essay the character of Lakhan, a casanova who will be appointed by Kokila(Parul Chaudhari) to impregnate Swarnalekha.

Our source informed, "Lakshya being unable to impregnate Swarnalekha, Kokila will now hire Lakhan to accomplish the same, so that an heir from her, will help gain control over the Amerkot kingdom."

When contacted Puneet, he stated, "My character- Lakhan, is very confident, outspoken and has a lot of positive energy. My look resonates a lot with Ranveer Singh in 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela, Ram-Leela'. Lakhan is quite a casanova of sorts and will be an arrogant one in the beginning. It includes a lot of shirtless scenes as well and I'm confident about my look. I hope audiences enjoy it! I'm enjoying the show and it feels great to work with Zee TV again."

Puneet will enter the show from November 2nd.
