Promotion at its best for Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Naa..

Ratna Sinha’s Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Naa has been the recent talk of the town for all the right reasons!! While the gripping story line has the viewers glued to the television sets, the production house is not leaving any stone unturned when it comes to publicity.

Ratna Sinha has come up with a very unique way of promoting the serial, wherein the serial’s Associate Director, Krishna Kant Chauhan who is basically a biker will make a trip to majority of the Hindi speaking belt of Northern India on his bike, with a flag of the show alongside the luggage stacked up on the rear of the bike. The rider will cover nearly 350 to 500 kms every day and will be on road from 7am to 7pm for approximately 2 weeks, thus covering over 6000 kms in total. The rider will have around 10 breaks or stopovers in between his 7 to 7 ride.

During this break at different dhabas and small establishments, the rider will spend some time with the localites and dhaba owners and pass on a word of mouth to them about the show. To make the impact last, the rider will be carrying stickers of the show which he will paste in these places and will also distribute them to the local kids. The stickers distributed to the kids are most likely to reach their respective homes and hence it reaches the family.

With the 10 stop over per day and 10 local kids per stopover, the rider will be looking at 100 kids per day and thus 100 X 15=1500 families where the show will reach and adding to that are the dhaba owners (10 X 15= 150) where the rider will stop and here, the customers present there will also be taken into account. So overall during the ride the rider will be making the show reach more than 1500 families and many more potential viewers.

Moreover the rider will be making overnight stays at small villages or kasbas where he will co-ordinate with the sarpanch or equivalent authorities to have a look at that day’s telecast, and along with them, the rider will spread the word to many a villagers too.

In small centers a rider who is cruising down on a big bike loaded with luggage and a flag
is easily a centre of attraction. Adding to it is the fact that the rider is from Mumbai and from the Television sector. A part of the trip passes through Rajasthan (approx 700+ kms) from where the protagonist Aastha Chaudhary belongs.
