#PromoReview: 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' is breaking the stereotypes in total satire!

Akshay Kumar is back on TV, and this time around, he will be doing what he does the best - spread laughter. Many might remember 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' as a synonym for Navjot Singh Sidhu's laughter, and the iconic comedians that it gave us in the form of Ehsaan Qureshi, Sunil Pal, Kapil Sharma and others.

The auditions for the show have commenced some time back, and the promo is now out. And, here's what we think about it.

The promo shows a pregnant Akshay Kumar, with a voice-over that perfectly highlights the transition that happens during the phase. The sonography shows how there are not one or two, but 6 babies, and how the world has awaited them. That is symbolic of how we await the comedians that he is all set to deliver to the world, in the form of this show.

The voice-over is one of the major takeaway from the promo. It is not just an added element of humour to the look and feel, but also goes in perfect sync with what we see, which of course, is all the more humorous.

Rone ke badle mein duniya me haste haste aya is yet another instance foreground for the promo.

With Akshay Kumar on board, and other comedians like Zakir Khan, host Elli Avaram and many others, the show is definitely going to be a laughter riot. With a modern touch to the show, the show shall definitely succeed in carrying the legacy forward.
