Actress, Shivya Pathania along with real life boyfriend, Kinshuk Vaidya wowed one and all with their chemistry in the Sony TV show, Ek Rishta Saajhedaari Ka. And even though the show did not last too long, it is remembered by the ardent fans of the show.
And now, Shivya is all set to return with the upcoming Zee TV show, Dil Dhoondhta Hai, whose promos went on-air recently.
What Is It About?

The promo begins with an ecstatic Raavi (Shivya Pathania) who cannot control her excitement as she witnesses Shah Rukh Khan's house, Mannat in Mumbai. And she along with partner, Vrishi (Stavan Shinde) see the house mentioning about how this city is about people having big dreams and how some are afraid to dream big.

Followed by a journey in local train, Vrishi asks Raavi to dream something small, which is nulled by Raavi telling that why dream small, when you can dream big?!
And finally at home, Raavi pours tea, when a romantic Vrishi tells that our dream consists of having a small house, where he sees the two of them together.

The same is once again nulled by Raavi who tells that, why just the both of them and why not have a house with the whole family?
The Good

Just like her previous show, Shivya looks sweet, where everything is about the family along with a pinch of chasing your dreams. This shade of character certainly suits the actress and she seems to be at complete comfort with it.
In an era, where there are dark thrillers, over-the-top reality shows and other genres dominating the television space, a light-hearted story with pure values can be a nice change and Dil Dhoondhta Hai promises that to an extent.
The Not-So-Good
Even though the promo presents a feel-good vibe about the saga, there is still a sense of been-there-seen-that feeling as a small-town couple having big aspirations is not something entirely novel.

The leading male actor, Stavan Shinde doesn't impress with his acting chops as a first impression, where his delivery of dialogues isn't completely convincing; but this is purely on the basis of first impression.
The Verdict

With the rise of dark thrillers, Dil Dhoondhta Hai may just
be the necessary relief that a viewer wants. However, with a new guy on the
block and a rather cliched story, the show may have its own set of struggles.
