#PromoReview : Kesari Nandan's Promo REMINDS Us of Eklavya From Mahabharata!

As we know, Colors' is gearing up for its upcoming show Kesari Nandan starring actor Manav Gohil and Ankita Arora in lead roles.The show as we know, is loosely inspired from the Bollywood movie Dangal.

After releasing the first promo, Contiloe Pictures now unveiled the second promo of the much awaited show which is set to roll soon.

What is the promo about?

The promo opens with a quote by Kesari, "Baap ka sapna chhora hi nahi, chhori bhi pura kar sake hai." which means that even girls can fulfill their father's dream.

It shows actor Manav Gohil who is a wrestling (Dangal) teacher, teaching his students while Kesari, his daughter is curiously looking from the window and learning the moves. The promo talks about passion and will, two most important things needed for winning.

What we liked?

We loved the concept of the show which is quite new to telly world, we liked the fact that show emphasises more on women empowerment. It also talks about passion and will and we are completely touched by the message the makers tried conveying with this promo. This new promo gives a complete insight into what's the story about. Talking about performance, actor Manav Gohil is playing a strong character and we think, he is doing great. The child actor is also pretty good in her role.

What we didn't like?

The promo doesn't reveal much about other characters and the makers could have added the opening quote as Kesari's dialogue which would have created quite an impact on the viewers.

Verdict :

Apparently, the story is not completely based on the movie Dangal, the makers tried giving it a different angle by adding a touch of Eklavya's story from Mahabharata. We liked the overall promo and especially the message its trying to give. We think, society needs to watch such stories.

We are eagerly waiting for the show to hit the screens.
