Colors' Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii, topped the TRP charts when it revealed one of it's kind and television's most shocking twist. The lead actress Rubina Dilaik, who plays the protagonist Soumya on the show is actually a 'kinnar'/ transgender.

As per the ongoing track of the show, Preeto (Kamya Punjabi), Soumya's mother in law gets to know by Saya, that her bahu is a kinnar. In a fit of rage, when Harman (Vivian Dsena) is not around to protect his wife, Preeto throws Soumya out of the house.

Soumya is taken away by her father Maninder (Ayub Khan) and Saya (Ekta Singh) to an unknown location.

The promo shows Soumya's transformation from Soumya to a kinnar, and it is a startling one. Take a look.

The show now seems to have picked up its pace. After the twist was revealed, there were a lot of discussions as to which way will the show turn. But looking at the promo, we feel that the show is moving in the right direction.

Can we already declare Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii as another winner from the Rashmi Sharma camp or is it too soon?
