Producers of the show are so passionate about their work! - Rajeshwari Sachdev Badola

Rajeshwari Sachdev - an actress which leaves everyone absolutely speechless with the kind of work she has always been taken up. Post the stern, independent, self made business woman, she steps out to essay the character of widow in her new venture, Balika Vadhu. 

In conversation with TellyBuzz, she speaks about her character, dilemma she faces as Mangala Devi and the literal issues that the show will come up with.

On her character, Rajeshwari says, "It is always nice to get a role soon after you are done with your previous show. In a way you are more into your work. My character in the show really provoked me to take up this show. I am a widow from rural India and definitely do not have the opportunities that a woman in the city will have. She is grown up in a certain place and in a certain way and thus she feels that to be okay. She knows no other. So, you accept that as a fact. You might be happy or you might not be happy with the situation. Everybody has their own share of happiness and sorrows and Mangala Devi is all good with it."

Rajeshwari as Mangala Devi goes through a dilemma of wanting to help the little girl and not even wanting to help. "When a small girl comes your way and you see something wrong happening to her, you understand that this is not right and it has to be changed. You want to do something for that little kid but you have no freedom to speak up. Mangala Devi is in a situation where she wants to do something for her but does not even want to because she knows her life will be in danger if she speaks up."

When asked about the producers and the team that is behind the show, she says, "Writers of the show are a bunch of intelligent people. They know that they are moving onto a different level by introducing a new family. There might be similarities but it will not be same. Viewers will see new issues to tackle and I am sure they will highlight them on the show.

I am in love with the producers because they have been so passionate about the show. They have maintained the quality throughout. People have always nice things to speak about them. Also, I have worked with Sphere Origins in their first show they ever made as producers. So, I anyway have a soft corner for them (laughs). It is a great show told be a team by writers, producers and every one."
