The feat
that director Kunal Kohli has achieved in bringing Priyanka Chopra and Shahid
Kapur on-screen once again, hasn't gone uncelebrated. The happy reunion past
them, questions on the film have now begun to arise, especially with regard

Titled Muqtassar,
the film is an epic saga spanning over three eras: pre-independence (1910's),
immediately post independence (1960's) and the current times (2012); with
Priyanka's character based of the legendary poet and freedom fighter,
Sarojini Naidu.
It is
said that PC is currently busy studying the muse inspiring her character - once
famous as the Nightingale - absorbing in her design, gestures and fashion. Keeping
in mind the time periods to be depicted, the character is inevitably exposed to
a whole array of models, albeit having to sport deglamourised clothes
- mostly simple saris. To balance the blandness, the costume designers for PC
have opted to go for bright colours in the said attire.
With the promise of yet another impressing avatar,
carved from life and times of a legend in modern Indian history, and most of
all in coming back onscreen with alleged ex-beau Shahid Kapur, post the
blockbuster success of their 2009 project Kaminey, PC can be certain her
fans are going to have much to look out for! To keep up with details, stay
tuned to this space!
