Priya Marathe's 'Pavitra Rishta' with Comedy...

Sony's new comedy reality show Comedy Circus ke Superstars will see Priya Marathe of Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta fame performing comedy for the first time.

In the upcoming series the Champions of comedy will be pitted against the Challenger teams, and Priya vows to give her best shot and the best of punches whenit comes to comedy.

When contacted, Priya Marathe with a smile on her face said, "It's great to be paired with a stand up partner like Sunil Pal. Initially, I was not confident of my comic skills, but am pushing myself hard to get my acts right (smiles)".

The participants have already summed up shooting for the first episode of the show, and articulating her experience Priya quips, "After trying my skills in comedy I feel making people cry in daily soaps is easier than making people laugh (smiles). Our first act went on smoothly without any fumble, but still I would regard it as a mediocre performance because there is always a scope for improvement. Having said this, I have to tell you that I'm really enjoying being part of the show. It gives me a scope to showcase more of my talent".
