Prior to Apharan's Release, Ekta Kapoor Visits Haridwar With Mahie Gill To Perform Mahaaarti!

The multi-talented Ekta Kapoor, has left no stone unturned to entertain viewers with her beguiling concepts. Be it television, films or web series, the versatile director cum producer always wins spectator's heart with her interesting stories. Ekta, who has become the talk of the town lately for her upcoming web series Apharan, is all guns blazing for its launch and was recently seen performing a Maha Aarti in the sacred land of Haridwar.

Moved by the scenic beauty of Haridwar, Ekta was sure to capture the divine city in Apharan. Having shot multiple scenes there, the place has become very special to her. As the Balaji family is quite religious, she along with Mahie Gill was seen performing a Maha Arti on the banks of river Ganga in Haridwar to seek blessings and mark a positive start for her series. Well, that's not it, the rest of the cast - Arunoday Singh, Varun Badola and Nidhi Singh will also be seen perform the aarti.

Commenting on this special outing, Ekta Kapoor said, "I am extremely happy to be back as we have spent many days shooting for the series here in the scenic locations of Haridwar. The experience of ridingon the ATV bikes along with Mahie at the Ganga Ghaats was quite splendid.If given a choice, I would choose the Ghats of Rishikesh any day over Mumbai!"
