Preity Zinta Hits Back At Trolls for Criticizing Her Decision to Hide Kids' Faces in Holi Pics

Actress Preity Zinta took to Instagram to offer a peek into her Holi celebration with her family.

India celebrated the vibrant festival of Holi on March 14th 2025. Many Bollywood stars shared glimpses of their festivities, and now, Preity Zinta has offered a peek into her celebration with her family. She cleverly concealed her children's faces in the pictures and explained her reasoning. The actress stated that her children were not part of the entertainment industry and she wanted them to grow up with a sense of normalcy.

On March 17th, Preity Zinta took to Instagram and shared a collection of pictures from her Holi celebration. The first image was a charming selfie with her husband, Gene Goodenough. The couple was adorned with various colors. In the second photograph, their children, Jai and Gia, joined them in the frame. However, their faces were obscured with heart stickers. Preity shared a few more snapshots with her friends and family.

In the comments section of the post, one user questioned, “Why hide kids faces??” Replying to the user, Preity Zinta wrote, “I’m in the entertainment business not my kids so I’m letting them grow up normal & enjoy their childhood till I can manage uske baad Rab Rakha (after that it’s on God).”

Later, the actress shared a video showcasing more heartwarming moments from Holi. Preity had her husband, Gene Goodenough, and children's names inscribed on her arm with henna. Gene was captured planting sweet kisses on her cheek. Preity also danced and took selfies with other friends.

In the caption, she expressed how she and her husband celebrated each other's cultures. The actress stated, “Being a multi cultural Indian American family we make it a point to celebrate each others festivals & culture, so the kids always know their roots on either side.”

On the professional front, Preity Zinta will be seen in the film "Lahore 1947" alongside Sunny Deol.
