As the popular Star Plus series 'Teri Meri Doriyaann' unfolds, its gripping storyline continues to enthral viewers. The latest developments centre around the revelation of Veer's mistreatment towards Keerat, portrayed by Prachi Hada, which adds further complexity to the ongoing plot.
Prachi Hada, renowned for her portrayal of Keerat in 'Teri Meri Doriyaann,' recently engaged in an exclusive conversation with India Forums. During the conversation, the actress delved into the current storyline involving her character and also shared her insights on the essence of love.
As the central storyline revolves around Keerat at the moment, do you experience any pressure or emotions regarding portraying this character?
To be very honest, an actor who leaves their home and comes to Mumbai for work knows in advance that regardless of whether it's television or any other medium, it requires a lot of dedication. We are all prepared to give our all, whether it's a 12-hour shift or a 24-hour one, no matter how challenging the scenes are. We rely on our producers and the team that supports us because they are always on their toes, taking care of even the smallest details. For example, if there's a scene where the actors have to get wet, they ensure that there are towels available. We're blessed to have such a supportive team.
The storyline was centred around Angad and Sahiba for a year, but now it's transitioning to Veer, Keerat, and Garry. So, naturally, we're definitely thinking about how the show is now about us

For all actors, it's significant when the focus shifts. The storyline was centred around Angad and Sahiba for a year, but now it's transitioning to Veer, Keerat, and Garry. So, naturally, we're definitely thinking about how the show is now about us. It's a blessing to have that responsibility as we strive to ensure the show performs well and resonates with the audience. We give our all to every task assigned to us, and there's nothing more fulfilling for an actor. We've been waiting for a year for this shift in focus, and the introduction of the Veer-Keerat-Garry love triangle was unexpected. Fortunately, it's being received well, and people appreciate the efforts of Veer and even Keerat's efforts during quieter moments to understand the circumstances.
What would Keerat say about how love shouldn't be?
Love shouldn't be harsh; it can be a little delulu, which is acceptable, but it should never be unkind. Instead, it ought to be gentle and subtle, acknowledging that it may encounter rough patches along the way. We can't always expect a smooth journey filled with constant love and support. There will be times when both partners need to understand that personal struggles can affect one's ability to give and receive. It's important to offer understanding and support to each other, recognizing that expectations may not always align with reality. If your partner is struggling to comprehend, give them the space and time to grow, knowing that things can improve if it's meant to be.
Regarding her professional work, 'Teri Meri Doriyaann' marks Prachi's debut in Hindi television. Prior to this, Prachi has showcased her talent in various domains, including films and web shows. Notably, her performance in the recent hit movie 'Jawan' garnered significant acclaim, further establishing her versatility in the entertainment industry.
