Prabhas charges a whopping amount for 'Adipurush' emerges as the highest paid actor in India

Bahubali actor Prabhas has now emerged as the highest paid actor in India after be pocketed a whopping amount for his upcoming next 'Adipurush'.

Actor Prabhas may not be signing many films but the actor is surely collecting a hefty fee. 

The superstar is now in the news for his upcoming biggie ‘Adipurush’ and Prabhas has charged a whopping Rs 150 crore for the same.

According to a trade source, 

“Prabhas is way ahead of the Khans and Akshay Kumar who still churn out maximum Hindi releases. His remuneration for ‘Adipurush’, which is close to 150 crores, surpassed the fee that Akshay Kumar charged for ‘Bell Bottom’and Salman Khan received for ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and what Filmmakers and investors are willing to ride mega-budgets on Prabhas as he is the most dependable actor whose loyal fans ensure he’s ruling on the numero uno spot.” 

The Bahubali actor has also been selective in his brand endorsements and only represents a select few.

Adipurush is said to be the adaptation of the Indian epic that revolves around the triumph of good over evil. 

According to Hindu mythology, Lord Ram is also addressed as Adi Purusha. Prabhas will be seen playing the role of Lord Rama and Saif will play the role of Lankesh, the demon King Ravan, in the film.

Up next, Prabhas will be seen in Om Raut directed ‘Adipurush’. He will share the frame with Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon in this historic entertainer. 

He also has ‘Radhe Shyam’ with Pooja Hegde and Project K with Deepika Padukone.

On the professional front, Prabbhas committed five long years to ‘Baahubali’ which emerged as the highest-grossing franchise in India, post which he won hearts with his performance in ‘Saaho’.
