When Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande broke up, the whole nation was stunned. It was because the then much-loved couple once had publicly announced their wedding plans. Many reports suggested Ankita's behaviour, while many suggested Sushant's friendship with Raabta co-star Kriti Sanon was the reason. After a lot of speculations, Sushant took to Twitter to negate everything and declared that they grew apart. But the recent conversation between the duo on social media has surely left fans hoping for a reconciliation.

It happened so that Ankita is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra shared her look from the movie and wrote, "Here is the official look of actress Ankita Lokhande as Jhalkari Bai in her debut film - Manikarnika. A woman soldier in Rani Laxmibai's army, Jhalkari Bai eventually rose to the position of an advisor to the Queen." Sushant was among the first ones to reply to the post congratulate the actress. While many were stunned by this, it didn't end here as Ankita also replied to the comment and thanked him.
