Television actor Abhishek Kumar is currently part of the reality series Laughter Chefs Season 2. While the show revolves around food and light entertainment, a surprising development recently brought personal history into the spotlight. The appearance of Isha Malviya on the show stirred conversation, as she shares past relationships with both Abhishek and his current on-screen partner Samarth Jurel.

While many assumed that the situation may have been uncomfortable for those involved, Abhishek clarified in a recent interview with ETimes that everything was handled with maturity. He said the moment was actually a positive one and that he himself made the first move to speak with Isha when she arrived on set.

Calling it a “very good” moment, Abhishek revealed, “I took the initiative to talk to Isha.” He added that the show’s host, Krushna Abhishek, brought them together in a fun moment. “Krushna Abhishek led him and the others towards Isha to dance to her popular song Shaky Shaky,” a track that has been trending on social media.

Abhishek also addressed the perception that there may still be conflict between the former couple or with Samarth. He said, “She is doing some great work and I feel everyone is doing good job in their respective space. Shayad aisa portray hojaata hoga that we hate each other but there is nothing like that. Nobody hates anyone and we all are somehow connected to each other.”

He continued, “It is a very small industry and kabhi na kabhi ek dusre se takrana hai so we took everything very normally.”

Abhishek added that both he and Samarth were aware in advance that Isha would be joining the show. According to him, the creative team had already informed them, which allowed everyone involved to mentally prepare for her entry. This helped avoid any tension and ensured a smooth working environment on the show.

Despite their history, all three appeared to have kept their focus on the show and maintained a respectful attitude.
