Pooran Kiri to play a negative lead in Savdhaan India!

Pooran Kiri has gained a lot of fame as a cop in episodic shows. But sadly, he has not been seen doing these shows off late. 

Previously seen in Colors' Code Red as a cop, Pooran will now be seen as a negative lead in Savdhaan India - India Fights Back (Life OK) for the first time!

The story will revolve around how Yashwant, a trustee of a temple will play dirty politics in greed for more money and power.

We contacted Pooran for confirmation of the news. He stated, "I am doing episodic shows after a very long time but playing a negative is a first for me considering episodic shows. I play a baddy in my on-going shows - Gangaa (&TV) and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) but my fans wanted me to get off the police avatar and don a different kind of a negative character which is unlike what they have seen in fictional shows."
