Poonam Gulati in NDTV Imagine's Meera..

Talented actress Poonam Gulati who played Shubhra in Saat Phere and is presently seen in Sahara One's Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki will be essaying a very important role in NDTV Imagine's new show Meera, produced by Sagar Pictures.

Talking about her role in the show, Poonam says, "I play the character of Prayukta who is important to the story line, and has a negative shade to portray. She is very close to the little girl Meera (Aashika Bhatia). I can't talk much about the relationship they share, but I will be the one who influences Meera. Prayukta's entry will change Meera's life altogether".

"My entry will be around the 15th episode, where the Janmashtami celebrations are on. I will be seen wearing heavy jewellery, and the whole look is different", adds Poonam.

Apart from Poonam, noted actor Ravi Jhankal will be seen playing Meera's grandfather in the show. Ravi played the popular character of Munni Bhai in Shyam Benegal's film Welcome to Sajjanpur.
