Pooja Gor in ALT Balaji’s The Verdict!

Actress Pooja Gor who is known for her role in Star Plus’ popular show Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, has bagged a new show. Yes, you read it right! The actress was recently roped in for a web series titled Babes and Bitches alongside actor Ruslaan Mumtaaz.

According to reports, actress Pooja Gor has been roped in for ALT Balaji’s much awaited series, The Verdict - State V/s Nanavati. Pooja will be seen playing a crucial role in the upcoming series.

As we know, ALT Balaji is coming up with a courtroom drama titled The Verdict - State V/s Nanavati based on the famous Nanavati Case of 1959. The series will also feature actor Sumeet Vyas and Angad Bedi in lead roles. Sumeet and Angad both will don black coat for their character. While Sumeet will essay the character of a famous lawyer Ram Jethmalani, Angad will be seen playing barrister Karl Khandalavala.

The series is being directed by Shashant Shah and will be a 10 episode courtroom drama based on public records, newspaper articles of the time and interviews with people who have knowledge of the case.

The cast already begun preparing for their respective roles and reportedly the makers will rope in most of the cast from the theatre industry.
