Talking about her role in the series, the actress says, “I am playing the role of Sumona, a college senior whose juniors are afraid of her bossy nature. She is the ‘uncalled-don of the college’. Sumona is tough from outside but emotionally very sensitive from inside. She likes to voice her opinion wherever she feels necessary. It’s a pretty strong character and I enjoyed this role.”

The actress, known for her versatility, embraced this lead role and delivered a performance that captivated audiences. Pooja says, ''The audience will get to see me in a different light with this strong role. This is my first lead role, and I am liking this little step ahead in my career. I have inserted my inner self in this role, and I am looking forward to bringing a fresh dimension to the screen and offering the audience an engaging experience.”

Professionally, the actress made her acting debut with MTV Dating in the Dark and post that she was seen playing the lead role in the Altbalaji series Gandii Baat. Pooja is also known for the film Sanak and the short film- Oas.
