Ishaan Khatter seems to have a glorious year ahead professionally and we already have a glimpse of it. The teaser of his upcoming film Pippa is out and will surely give you goosebumps. 

The teaser was released by the makers on the occasion of India's 75th Independence Day. The film, featuring Ishaan Khatter in the titular role is based on the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

Pippa is an intense military drama that is based on actual events. We get brief glimpses of several wartime situations in the movie's teaser. For those who are unfamiliar, Pippa is a tale of three siblings set against the dramatic backdrop of the 48-hour Battle of Garibpur, which took place on India's eastern front in the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.

Ishaan Khatter took to his social media handle and shared the the teaser along with the caption that read, "PIPPA in cinemas December 2nd, 2022. Producer Ronnie Screwvala talked about his movie Pippa in a recent interview and said that people are only now starting to recount the tales of our war heroes and of India's numerous strategic decisions, both war and peace, over the past 75 years since our Independence, decisions that have elevated us to the status of a major power. PIPPA, which is set in 1971 against the backdrop of one of the greatest refugee migrations in modern history, is a narrative that must be told, and on December 2, 2022, the makers can't wait to reveal the scope of this epic film to audiences everywhere.
