Actress Payal Ghosh recently made shocking revelations and opened up about her MeToo story. She revealed that filmmaker Anurag Kashyap forced himself on her and accused him of sexual harassment. She filed an FIR for the same at Oshiwara Police Station, on September 22, 2020. 

In the recent turn of events, Payal Ghosh held a joint press conference with Rajya Sabha MP Ramdas Athawale, on Monday. During the press conference, the actress claimed that she is facing a threat to her life after accusing filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual misconduct. 

During her press conference, Payal said, “I have risked my career to talk about this. It takes courage to speak about such a traumatic experience. Would request everyone to not fear and come out and speak.” 

Prior to the press conference, Ghosh took to her Twitter handle and shared that she will be meeting the Governor of Maharashtra to discuss the situation and the necessary steps that need to be conducted.

Meanwhile, her lawyer, Nitin Satpute tweeted, “Payal Ghosh Along with Her Lawyer Adv Nitin Satpute &Asso will visit to Hon. Governor @BSKoshyari at 12.30 pm on 29/9/2020 at Rajbhavan. Will Give Letter for Y Security to Payal Ghosh and Adv Nitin Satpute as their life is Under Threat.”

Meanwhile, Payal is unhappy with the Police’s speed over the development of the case and has expressed her concern about the same and no action against the filmmaker.
