Pavitra Rishta turns 3!

Zee TV's popular show Pavitra Rishta turned 3 today.

The show was first aired on the small screen on June 1^st 2009. The initial plot of a mother's struggle to find a Mr. Perfect for her daughter helped the show remain on the top of the TRP chart for a long time.

With its three years of long journey, the plot of the show has seen many ups and downs. The show has successfully held the interest of the audience for the past 3 years. The show has now taken a leap and has new characters that paved their entry into the show.  

We got in touch with Ankita Lokhande a.k.a Archana of the show to know how she felt about being a part of a long running successful show. Ankita said, "I feel proud to be a part of this show. I treat it just like my baby. The show holds a very important part in my life as it has given me an identity."

The cast and crew of the Pavitra Rishta team celebrated this moment of joy by cutting a cake on the set.
