Paras Madaan admits flaws: “I Wish to Work On…”

Paras Madaan, who is currently seen in Pocket Mein Aasmaan, says though he keeps a check on his performances, it's mostly so that he can give a better performance next.

Talking about his acting abilities, he said, "I rate my acting abilities as 7/10. I'm generally satisfied, but I believe there's always room for improvement. I'm critical of my performances, but in a constructive way, looking for areas to refine and grow as an actor."

He enjoys connecting with his characters on an emotional level and bringing depth and authenticity to his roles. He added, "I wish to work on my versatility, exploring a wider range of characters and genres to showcase my range."

Paras draws inspiration from various actors and styles, but he strives to add his unique twist to avoid copying. He said, "I believe inspiration should spark creativity, allowing me to develop my own voice and approach, rather than replicating someone else's work."

He shared that his dream role is to play a complex, dynamic character in a historical drama. He added, "I want to explore themes of social justice and personal growth."

He also stressed that every actor must be dedicated, resilient, and authentic in their performance. He said, "A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow. The ability to handle criticism, rejection, and pressure. The capacity to bring genuine emotion and truth to their performances."

He also shared that his mother is his biggest critic and said, "She's always pushing me to improve and offering constructive feedback, which helps me grow as an actor."

What about fan feedback? "I read fan feedback on social media. It helps me understand what resonates with audiences and what I can improve on, allowing me to grow and refine my craft," Paras ended.
