Pankit Thakkar's Birthday Celebration!

Pankit Thakkar, who is currently seen on Life OK's 'Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant', celebrated his birthday yesterday. The actor went on a special lunch treat with the cast of his show.



We contacted the actor who told us, "I don't celebrate my birthday, as I can't handle the attention that people shower on me. I don't know how to react when people ask me to cut the cake and sing the birthday song. I am a shy person and this time as well, I had no plans of celebrating my birthday. I had told my team to not give me a holiday and to shoot with me, but since the shooting line up had some other sequence planned up, I along with a lot of actors got an off. The cast was hell bent on breaking my record of not celebrating my birthday and they planned my birthday outing. Tanvi Thakkar and Vahbiz Dorabjee decided the place and all of us, who were not shooting got together for lunch."



Pankit continued,"The producer and the cast showered me with gifts and pampered me with love and attention. Sonaliji gave me a wine bottle and Tanvi and Mehul got some really creative gifts. Tanvi also gifted me a painting that she made herself and Mehul got me a nice picture of 'Gyaan' and 'Dhyaan'. While Vahbiz got the birthday cake, Pallaviji and Sweety gifted me a perfume." 

The actor, who was very elated said, "We had a great day, where we faffed around and had fun. Amir Sir, Karan, Ridhima, Rajendraji and Neel couldn't join us as they were shooting for a major sequence." 

Pankit profusely thanked his crew members as well. He said, "I want to say thanks to the lovely cast. I celebrated my birthday after many years. Left to me, I would not have done anything special for myself. I always plan to spend a quiet evening with family over dinner. I feel, I am blessed to be a part of 'Bahu Humari Rajnikant' as the cast and crew as well as the producers are nothing less than a family."
