Pankaj Tripathi teases fans with cryptic clues about 'Stree 2'

Pankaj Tripathi has consistently left an indelible mark with his performances across diverse genres, ranging from comedy to drama and thriller. One of his lauded films is the 2018 horror-comedy Stree, where he shared the screen with Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

The much-anticipated sequel, Stree 2, recently kicked off its shooting in Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, the same town that set the eerie backdrop for the first installment.

Currently in progress, the filming has been generating heightened excitement among fans eagerly awaiting the next instalment in the Stree series.

During a recent Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Reddit, a fan probed Pankaj Tripathi for updates on Stree 2. Responding with a GIF from his famous Mirzapur scene, captioned "Risk Hai," he humorously quipped, "Balak, kyun darna chahte ho?" (Child, why do you want to get scared?). This cryptic yet playful response has left fans intrigued, sparking anticipation for the surprises that the sequel might unveil.

His latest project, Main Atal Hoon, a biographical film depicting the life of the late statesman and former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, has just been released. The film showcases India's transformative journey from its independence era.

Looking ahead, Tripathi is gearing up for upcoming projects, including Stree 2 and Metro... In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu. The film boasts an ensemble cast, featuring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles.
