Panchi Bora in, Sriti Jha out in Imagine's Rakta Sambandh..

TellyBuzz had earlier reported that UTV Telly Talkies' upcoming show on Imagine, Rakta Sambandh will have a huge cast.

The story is about five sisters set in a Maharashtrian backdrop. We had reported earlier that Bhairavi Gupte, a known face from the Marathi circuit has been finalized to play the eldest sister. We had also written that Sayantani Ghosh, Daljit Kaur will be making their comeback with this show, and will play the other two sisters. Sonali Nikam will play the fourth sister.

Earlier, we had said that Sriti Jha of Imagine's Jyoti fame has almost been finalized to play the youngest of the sisters, who will be the main lead. However, there is a change in this now.

According to our source, "It is Panchi Bora of Kayamath fame who will play the role of the youngest sister. She has been finalized, while Sachin Chabra who was earlier seen in Zee TV's Meri Doli Tere Angana has been short listed to play the guy opposite her".

Rookie actress Anjum Farooki who was last seen playing the grown-up Antara in Zee TV's Aap Ki Antara was also considered for the youngest sister's role.

The actors finalized would be signing their contract papers in a day or two.

When contacted, Panchi Bora told us, "I am not in town now. So I do not know which offer you are talking about".

We tried calling Sriti Jha, but she remained unavailable.

The show will see Raj Singh and Lokesh Gupte playing the other two male leads. As reported earlier, Adi Irani, Rinku Karmarkar, Vibha Chibber, Vishnu Sharma have been finalized to play pivotal roles.
