"Padmavati" cast cancells shoot to avoid controversy?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Padmavati" got postponed on account of the controversies it created and the intense protest against the release of the movie. After the threats and the announcement of rewards to behead the director and lead actress Deepika Padukone, police has given protection to both of them, as well as to other two lead actors, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.

Two of the lead cast Deepika and Ranveer were suppose to shoot on the sets of Dance Champions. But they had to cancel the shoot. Already being in middle of a ragging protest, they decided to call off the shoot, to avoid any further controversies. 

Earlier, Deepika Padukone withdrawn her name from The Global Entrepreneurship Summit, where she is going cover a session called, 'Hollywood to Nollywood to Bollywood: The Path to Movie making'.
