Some have left their long lasting mark on the Indian screen, while some are still on it creating an even bigger mark on the small screen! And they are, our on-screen bahus! The ideal ones who already have, and some currently are leaving a huge impact across many households in the country! 

So listed below is our list of the top 10 #Iconic bahus, who have and some still are ruling India's TV screens!

1. Tulsi Virani (Smriti Zubin Irani) of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi:

This lady ruled the TV screens for a good 8 years, and is till today dearly loved and remembered by most of our elders as the ideal bahu rani anybody could ever have! From a clan of various characters being children, husbands, the other man and many more which came on the show, our Tulsi was long lasting and just stuck on! So she definitely tops our top 10 #IconicBahus list!

2. Prerna Sharma/Basu/Bajaj (Shweta Tiwari) of Kasautii Zindagii Kay:

Our Prerna, was one of the most good looking, long lasting and idealistic bahu's on screen, who was always ready to sacrifice anything for the ones she loved! She always managed to look young and just herself during any leap and post leap through the show which everyone of course loved! And her romantic romance with Anurag, which was definitely the best highlight of Kasauti! She not only was but still is considered as one of the #BestBahus on screen! Which immediately brought her on our top 10 #IconicBahus list.

3. Parvati Aggarwal (Saakshi Tanwar) of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki:

The mark left by Parvati on Indian Television,who was the Aggarwal' household's most ideal bahu and Om's ideal wife, was and still is huge! Her ever lasting journey of hardships she faced in regard with her family, husband and other relations over 8 years, just made her an icon for bahus all over the world! With Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki being the second most watched and loved show around the country! So after having been part of such a successful ghar ki kahaani, Parvati had to of course be on our top 10 #IconicBahus list!

4. Akshara Singhania (Hina Khan) of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai:

Natik's perfect wife and the Singhania parivaar's ideal bahu Akshara, still very popular on screen, has managed to totally capture the audiences with her idealistic self! She too is one bahu who will always be remembered as Indian Television's best bahu rani! And not to forget how she is actually getting younger with each generation leap! From her indian sarees in India to jeans and a tshirt in Capetown, this bahu obviously had to be on our top 10 #IconicBahus list!

5. Ishita Bhalla (Divyanka Tripathi) of Ye Hai Mohabbatein:

Currently one of the most loved bahus on screen! Such an ideal character she is na!? Her love for children, epic romance with her husband Mr. Raman Bhalla, and such immense care for her family! What more would anybody want from such an awesome bahu! Ishita is currently ruling Indian Television, and she is one lady who definitely is going to create a huge mark on it! So yes, Mrs Bhalla of course had to be on our top 10 #IconicBahus list!

6. Gauri Mittal (Gauri Pradhan Tejwani) of Kutumb:

Mittal parivaar's best bahu and Pratham's lovely wife Gauri, who stole many hearts with her ideal self on the small screen! An unforgettable Pratham-Gauri love story which is still remembered and loved by so many, and of course Gauri Mittal herself who created a huge successful niche for herself on Indian Television. So no doubt she immediately made it to our top 10 #IconicBahus list!

7. Daya Gada (Disha Wakani) of Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah:

Daya's 'Hey Ma Mataji' and 'Meri Ma Kehti Hai' has made her one of the funniest, most loved and popular bahu on screen! Who takes immense care of her Bapuji, Tappu, Tappu ke papa and the entire Gokuldham society too! Currently ruling our TV screen, Daya has made a huge mark for herself on it! And so she is of course on our top 10 #IconicBahus list!

8. Monisha Sarabhai (Rupali Ganguli) of Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai:

Monisha's 'Mummyji, Daddyji, Roshesh and Sahil' loved her, and yes so did WE ALL! And many, many, manyyyyy households still do! Monisha's jhick-jhick with her mummyji Maya Sarabhai, getting along well with daddyji Indrawadan Sarabhai, always feeding her husband Sahil puraana khana and of course bargaining for bhaji prices with the bhaji wala from her house window, really made her immensely popular on the small screen! And so even though she was called 'Middle Class Monisha' by Maya, she just had to be on our top 10 #IconicBahus list!

9. Archana Deshmukh (Ankita Lokhande) of Pavitra Rishta:

An ideal bahu to some and not to some, who through thick and thin stuck along well with her husband and both their families! The immense sacrifice and love she went through during the entire course of the show, made her very popular in a lot of households around the country! Also note that even though she played different characters towards the end of the show, her role of Archana Deshmukh was and still is loved by many! And not to forget the EPIC Manav-Archana romance! So she obviously made it to our top 10 #IconicBahus list!

10. Toasty Sharma/Chaturvedi (Aishwarya Sakhuja) of Saas Bina Sasural:

Toasty also known as Tanya, managed to carve a huge niche for herself as one of the sweetest bahus on Indian Television! Living in a home with no saas and only men who don't approve of women, and still managing to break that norm with immense support and love from her husband, she immediately became one of the lovely bahu's on screen! So yes sweet Toasty had to make it to our list of the top 10 #IconicBahus!
