The rising exposure of OTT platforms has revolutionized the content throughout the world. The narration of stories from the world directly lined on to your portable devices has summoned the need for more creative and unique content which sells. During a recent media interaction at Promaxbda India, Rajiv Bakshi, CEO, Reliance Entertainment’s Big Synergy today led a panel along with other luminaries Ali Hussein Hussein (COO – Eros Digital), Aparna Acharekar  (Programming head – Zee5), Gautam Talwar (Chief content officer MX Player) , Vijay Subramaniam (Director and head content – Amazon)  and Zubin Dubash (Coo Digital, Shemaroo entertainment) spoke on great lengths how India’s online video audience is set to double over the next five years to 550 million- a user base more than twice that of the United States.

The panel discussion was held with pomp at a venue in the suburbs of western Mumbai. The discussion turned out to be highly insightful and full of knowledge as the above-mentioned panelists spoke at length about OTT.

The entire panel was spearheaded by Rajiv Bakshi while others shared their inputs on the same.

With the emergence of various digital platforms in India, the international and domestic OTT platforms are in a hard tussle to acquire the market and audience. The need for richer and sensible content has led the audience marching towards OTT platforms. However, pricing tends to be the major concern amongst the customers.
