Omi 'Chatur' Vaidya to host Chhote Ustaad?

Star Plus is now all set for yet another musical season with Saibaba Telefilms with a new season of Chhote Ustaad, launching on 24th July. It has already been reported that Sonu Nigaam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will be the judges for the show.

The latest is that Omi Vaidya the guy who came to the limelight with the movie 3 Idiots is apparently the favorite to host the show.

A little birdie tells us, "The channel and production house auditioned lot of known names from the previous season of Chhote Ustaad and Voice of India. Abhas Joshi who was the host of Season One was also considered as host, but it looks as though Omi Vaidya scores high with the kind of screen presence he has. Chhote Ustaad finds, Anwesha Dutta Gupta Aishwarya Majumdar are also being considered as possible co-host candidates for the show".

Though there is no confirmation coming on Omi Vaidya hosting Chhote Ustaad, he seems to be the favorite of both the channel and production house. In all possibility, either Aishwarya or Anwesha will be co-hosting along with Omi.

We tried calling Gajendrra Singh of Saibaba Telefilms, but he remained unavailable.

We could not get any confirmation from the channel.

When contacted, Omi Vaidya refused to comment, while Abhas Joshi said that he might not be hosting the show this time around.

Let's wait to know whether we get to see Mr. Chatur in a new avatar on television!!
