Zee TV's show 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' which introduced multiple seasons is all set to go off-air by the end of April.

After several changes in the storyline and plot, the channel has decided to pull the plug on the show.

We got in touch with the lead actor, Sartaj Gill aka Raja who gave us an interesting insight on his journey with the show.

Sartaj mentioned that 'Ek Tha Raja..' is a 'ONE-MAN' show and how he was towered with the responsibility of pulling off the same.

Before you start racking your brains, here is what Sartaj actually meant by that statement.

He said, "From the time I signed the show and essayed Raja; till now, I could proudly tell everyone that this is a one-man show. Evidently, there are no male characters in the show which remained throughout and that became an added responsibility for me. At times, it became really stressful as one has to live up to the audience expectations."

He also went on to add, "For example, shows like 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' and 'Kumkum Bhagya' have so many characters. There is scope for one story to run parallel to the other. But with us, the responsibility was humongous and I did not complain one bit about it. The journey was amazing and the show was a great experience too."

We are sure the fans are going to miss the show a lot!
