OMG: A.R.Rahman UPSET being on 'The Kapil Sharma Show'!

A.R. Rahman was disappointed after visiting 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.

A R Rahman on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show

Popular singer and music composer A. R. Rahman has always kept away from the media spotlight and is rarely seen on TV shows. The singer was recently seen on Sony TV's comedy show 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.

But the 49 years old singer doesn't seem to be really happy being a part of the show. Rahman, being of an introvert and of disciplined nature was disappointed by the jokes being cracked on his personal life consistently, by Ali Asgar who appeared on the show as 'Lucknowi Begum' as reported from the online portal of a leading entertainment channel.

Rahman was so much miffed by the comments made there that he regrets visiting the show and would now think twice before visiting any such show.

A.R. Rahman was recently in Mumbai for the launch of filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming film 'Mohenjo Daro'. Rahman has sung and composed music for the film which stars actor Hrithik Roshan and female debutant Pooja Hegde.

Not jst kapil bt almost all comedians target women. Bcoz a lot of women do nt find any offense or insult wen men put on women wear. They feel its comedy while its nt. I am not against cracking on jokes hw a particular gender behaves in different situation. Bt in kapil's show dey make fun of a woman who is fat(palak), a servant who has no money(raju). Eariler it was bua n daadi both of dem were women characters n bua was played by a woman herself. If that is the format of d show den y bash comdey nights bachao. Roasting d celeb is d format of d show. The guests knw it very well.
Hypocrisy at its best.

Honestly although I am a huge fan of kapil sharma, I find some of the characters, of ali Asgar specially, really irritating. Kapil is a very balanced comedian, maintains a good amount of dignity in his acts, but ali Asgar turns vulgar sometimes. However, A R Rehman should have known the format of the show and if he had any reservation he should have settled it with kapil before coming to the show .. I rarely saw Rahman laughing at such jokes even in other award shows.

I don't believe Rehman would say anything of that sort. But it is best not to hurt others feelings when their family is concerned. Family is not to be mocked even if it is Kapil Sharma. If someone hurls ridicule at his family ,will he stay put?
Respect others Kapilji. Aise karne se show ka rating nahi badte hei.

I just can't believe the biases India forums show towards Kapil Sharma and that too openly, first of all what are your "sources". Please check The official twitter handle of AR rahman, because thats the real source. I mean u always choose not to include tkss in ur top ten trp toppers despite it getting more trps than cnl, cnb and IGT. But this piece of news just exposes your bias completely.

What?? A R Rehman was not brought on the show at gun point but his choice. He knew the concept of the show. At least kapil' humour/comedy does not have an emotional/ psychological impact on any celebrity attending his show, unlike other similar show which can make one feel like a non achiever/ loser after coming out of that particular show.

For God sake before posting an article check your sources !! A R Rahman never say or thought anything like this and the proof is on his own twitter where he thanks Kapil for inviting him to the show adding that he had a lot of fun.
I know many people are against Kapil Sharma because the success he is having is what many people are not able to achieve but Kapil do hardwork for it and so does his team so stop insulting someone's Work by publishing that kind of rumour because you unconsciously encourage negative people to bash Kapil whereas he deserves to be applaused for the success he gain in no time.
And one more thing adressed to all the people who accuse Kapil of making fun of womens in his show i think those people never saw a full episode or refers to some comments they heard of people who just want to bring Kapil down because Kapil never MADE FUN of women but he makes fun of the characters played by his actor and if really Kapil was disrespectful to the extent of humiliating womens he would have choosen ladies to play ladies character instead of mans to really ruin womens image.
Its because mens are playing womens that people are having a good time and laughing...otherwise they wouldnt watch the show and Kapil wont be soo successful just think ! Use ur mind ! Why people will love and watch a show where womens are being insulted or showed lack of respect ???? Its logic !!! People love it because Kapil is a brilliant comedian his team is awesome and all nail their performances everytime they put a feet on stage !
so next time watch a full episode without hearing someone opinion about it first, then ask yourself if as a women you felt insulted ? If you are a man if you felt insulted for your wife mother or sister ? And if the answers is no means there is simply nothing to be offended about and no lack of respect showed toward anybody ! So please stop judging without knowing someones hardwork.editDate>201...ed...

In fact, I saw the episode and did not find anything objectionable in it. Luchi did her act as usual. As we all know some are not comfortable with such characters. Both Rahman and Salman shy away from Luchi and Palak characters and don't like them to have any physical contact with them. Rahman did say no touching. Come on people, Rahman knew the format of the show before making an appearance. Do you truly think he would say that he was unhappy being at the show? Someone's imagination is running riot. Rahman in fact laughed his heart out at some of the jokes, appreicated Sugandha's signing. She sang well and even showed her creativity by converting one of Rahman's composition to old time hits. Those with vested interest in Comedy Nights LIve is trying to rake up a storm with a non-issue. Rahman is not the kind of person to say that he did not like the show. On the contrary, Comedy Nights live is like the Roast - they take personal digs and sometimes cross the boundary. I find comedy nights live repulsive while Kapil's show is a thorough entertainer. .

No Touching. No Touching. That was what he said to be away from the Jokers of Kapils show. He maintained his cool during the show. Sugandha made a bufoon of herself. Ali Asgar was really not wanted in this show. Kapil however sang some good songs.
