Not Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni but Aarohi Patel to play 'Kashi Bai' in Zee TV's next

Zee TV is coming up with an interesting historical show based on ‘Kashi Bai’. The project will be bankrolled by SOBO Films. Actors like Surbhi Gautam and Tarun Khanna will be seen in the show. The show will start with the story of a young Kashi Bai. A child artist will essay the role followed by generation leap based on the popularity of the show.

As per reports, there were buzz regarding popular child actress Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni playing the lead role of Kashi Bai in the show. Well, according to the new developments, Aurra has not bagged the project. A source close to the project said, “While Aurra was shortlisted for the show, she hasn’t bagged the same”.

India Forums has exclusively learned that child actress Aarohi Patel will be seen donning the avatar of ‘Kashi Bai’ in the show. Aarohi has already begun the shoot for the show and the promos will soon hit the TV screens.

Aarohi has a few commercial advertisements to her credit. She has also done modelling for various brands. We couldn’t connect with Aarohi for a comment.

SOBO Films helmed by Smruti Shinde currently also has &TV show Ek Mahanayak: Dr. BR Ambedkar in their kitty. A few years ago, Zee TV aired a historical show ‘Jhasi Ki Rani’ which had actors like Ulka Gupta and Kratika Sengar playing Rani Laxmibai. The show was extremely popular. It will be interesting to see if the show on ‘Kashi Bai’ will get the same love as their previous historical show.
