Nobody can wait indefinitely. Its time Disha Vakani takes a decision and informs us, says Asit Modi

The coming back of Daya ben aka Disha Vakani in SAB TV's popular show, Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma has had been a question mark since many months. There has been a lot of speculations floating in the media about the same whether Disha will continue to be part of the show or not.

Recently there were reports that the makers at Neela Telefilms have sent a notice to Disha Vakani stating that if she doesn't return to the show within 30-days she will get replaced.

The show producer Asit Kumarr Modi has cleared the air by giving an official statement. He said, "We have been very cooperative from the beginning. Since her daughter's birth, we have been waiting patiently, giving her space as new mother. But eventually, a show has to go on. Nobody can wait indefinitely. The character of Daya has to come back in Gokuldham society. 

If Disha is unable to come back because of her personal issues, then we will be left with no option but to replace her. Regarding the said notice, there has been no ultimatum issued. However, show must go on with all the principal characters. Its time she took a decision and informed us. As for Mayur Vakani, he is very much in the show."

Well, it would be interesting to see if Disha returns to the show after all this or if the residents of Gokuldham will get a brand new Daya ben?
