Nivedita Bhattacharya to play Sai Ketan Rao’s relative in Gul Khan’s Hotstar project?

India Forums broke the news about ace producer Gul Khan all set to roll out a new show for Disney+ Hotstar. As reported by us, Khan is religiously working on her digital project which is loosely a cop-based show. It has been revealed to us through our sources that both the leads might don the hat of cops in the project.

We also broke the news about Khushi Dubey who’s a part of the industry since childhood, is set to play the female lead while ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali’ actor Sai Ketan Rao has bagged the male lead role in the project. As per sources, actress Geeta Tyagi has been roped in to play Sai Ketan Rao’s grandmother in the show. Interestingly, the show will mark Tyagi and Rao’s reunion as the former played mother to Sai in ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali’.

Now, the buzz is that popular actress Nivedita Bhattacharya is in talks to play a relative to Sai’s character. Highly placed sources revealed that Bhattacharya might play Rao’s sister-in-law. Nivedita has an interesting line of work in her kitty including projects like Saath Phere, Mohhi, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai among many others.

Gul Khan is a known name in the Television industry. The producer under her banner Four Lions’ Films Pvt Ltd has delivered many popular shows like Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, Qubool Hai, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Ishqbaaaz, Nazar, Ishq Par Zor Nahi, Imlie among others.

Well, Gul Khan’s cop-based show ‘Arjun’ for Star Plus was a mega-hit and looking at Khan’s caliber to deal with the genre, it can be assumed that the new project will surely impress the viewers.
